The Alternating Currents
Process of Electrical Installation
At Alternating Currents, we have found through years of experience that a systematic approach helps us effectively deliver the highest quality of work. This is our promise to you. Below are the general steps we will take to complete your project. Your situation may vary depending upon your needs as outlined in your estimate.
Step One: Estimate
Get started on your electrical project by receiving a free estimate. Our estimator can either, physically or virtually, come to your home or business to discuss the details during a convenient time for you. Depending on the scope of the project, we may be able to provide an estimate via the telephone. You will receive a finalized estimate via email generally within 24 hours.
Step Two: Before Installation
Upon your acceptance of our estimate, an e-signature document will be sent electronically to your email for approval and to confirm scheduling. Depending on the project, a building permit may be required and will be included in the estimate.
Please note: Prior to our arrival, we request that all electronic devices and
machines be unplugged prior to our installation. All furniture and personal
belongings in work area should be moved.
Step Three: Installation
We will arrive on time on the projected start date, protect all floors with drop cloths, and use boot covers. Our installers will place electrical boxes for location and request a signoff prior to proceeding with piping and wire. All work will be professionally completed according to industry standard practices in addition to national and local electrical code requirements. All material is guaranteed to be as specified on the estimate. We only use top-quality products and materials. Standard white receptacles, switches, and Ariadni slide toggle dimmer switches with white plastic cover plates will be installed, unless specific color and style are requested (additional cost may apply). Drywall/plaster may be damaged to complete a project. We will review and provide a signoff waiver prior to damage
Step Four: Clean Up
When completing your project, we will vacuum and sweep floors
and carpets. All of our materials are removed. We strive for white glove service. We encourage you to provide feedback of our services at: www.altcur.com/customer-survey/
Step Five: Inspection
After our own inspection, we will invite you on a detailed walk-
through of our work to meet your approval and request a job sign-off upon completion. We request contacting us within 10 days after installation if a device is not operating correctly to rectify free of charge.
Safety is our #1 priority, both for our customers and ourselves. Our company safety meetings instill our commitment to safe and quality installation. We follow local and national electrical codes and meet all inspection requirements. Furthermore, we are fully bonded and insured.
