The provider conducted electrical work in our older home. Specifically, wiring for fixtures in our ceiling so we can install overhead ceiling lights/fans in 4 rooms that do not have any overhead lighting in them currently. The provider also rewired the switches in each of those four rooms to work with the overhead lighting (versus how the switch currently turns on/off random socket plugs throughout the house). The provider identified an out of code wiring in a room that the previous had installed improperly and corrected it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this electrician. After researching and contacting several “A” rated electricians on Angie’s list, we were shocked at the varying estimated cost between vendors. Alternating Currents responded to our inquiry for an estimate immediately. The estimate was emailed with detailed descriptions of the work to be done and the estimated cost. We set up a date/time for the following week and Jim G. and David B. arrived exactly at the scheduled time. Not only were they prompt, but they jumped right to work and were professional and friendly. During their work they identified an outdated and “out of code” wiring setup in our master bedroom. They explained what their concern was and they provided different options to resolve the issue (as well as the expected cost). When we told them how we would like to resolve the issue, they contacted their supervisor and received immediate approval to do the work (no waiting around or setting up a follow up visit). The work was done exactly how we wanted it and everything looks great. No mess left behind and the work was completed extremely fast. We paid exactly the amount provided in the estimate – again, they were the lowest estimate of several electricians we contacted. I would absolutely recommend this provider to a friend and if I ever need further electrical work, I will be using this Alternating Currents Corp.
